This is a great tool for nursery and landscapers.  This is a proven design used for the past 20 years.  It has a 1 ½” shaft welded to a D-Handle that is zinc plated to last many years.  Blade contains a comfortable footstep.  The blade is beveled on three sides for better ground penetration.  The shaft and blade are crafted out of aircraft quality steel. It is heat treated and tempered.  This is a super nice spade, and a quality product.
